Finally got a new SD card for the little camera! That means I can start blogging again. (Because what's a good blog without pictures?)
This morning by Dad and I had coffee on The Pier and then went straight to Downtown Manteo. Now, this downtown isn't your usual bustle of business. In Manteo it is like an amusement park land. Little restaurants & shops decorated in pirate outfits and more paintings of lighthouses and wild ponies then one might care to see. Off in the distance of the docked boats on the waterfront, is a replica of the first English boat to ever hit the American coast. They even have a fake pirate ship that "lurks" around to scare the settlers away. Equipped with a very fake but very loud cannon.
More pictures of this place as I go. But this is some produce I bought from the weekend market that is going into stew later.
